Download Shuttle: Speed Boost App Reviews
Great app, I love it. It’s easy to use, way faster than downloading through my browser, and it’s easy and quick to add a URL to download. I don’t get any apps, so I don’t know what other reviewers were complaining about. The only thing I wish is that I could adjust how many things can download at once. But if I want fewer it’s easy enough to pause them. NOTE: downloads will usually time out of they are queued to download, and it looks a bit like the download failed. That’s not the case, you just need to wait until the active downloads complete, then click the little triangle icon to start the download again.
When I download a large file (1GB) with segments at the end of the download it couldn’t combine the segments and finalize the download. instead it continues to download with 0 Kb/s. I have to manually pause and resume a download at the end to make it piece together all the segments and finalize the download. Using Macbook Air 13inc Mid-2012 with standart config. and OS X Mavericks. PLEASE FIX IT!!
Folx et Download Shuttle sont les deux meilleures app de téléchargement. Folx a un module de navigateurs internet en plus pour détecter les téléchargements mais je préfère download shuttle car on copie-colle le lien a télécharger , on clic sur le symbol + et hop le download senclenche. on ne peut pas lancer plus de 2 téléchargements en même temps le restant reste en file d’attente et démarre ensuite mais ca me va étant donné que cela coupe le fichier en segments (6maxi) cela fais 12 donwload en même temps c le prix de l’accélération du download. English : Folx and Download Shuttle is the 2 Best App for that matter, Folx have a browser module to help to detect download but finally i prefer Download shuttle because you just have to copy your download link and then you have just to clic on + symbol and it’s add the download. You can’t launch more than 2 download at the same time but to me it’s ok with the bandwith… all the rest is in queue and will auomatically start after.

Some downloads will get corrupted before finishing
Do the job. The only feature missing is a button to edit the URL of a file. You can edit the link in the .json file inside the temp file, but could be in the UI… Besides that, it works very well, it’s clean and I liked the progress bar look!
Nice little helper application. works as advertised.
Quick and easy to use. If FIPLAB adds the ability to add several URLs at the same time 5 stars it will be.
Always worked perfect. Since my personal update to OS Yosmite this app is totally uselss becauwe it is simply not workin at all. No real Help-Conncetion available. Very annoying.
Not working
Does not work with yosemite and Safari 8.0.5
Terrible performance. I pulled down a 200mb file within safari and it was completed within 3.3 minutes. The same 200mb file was than downloaded with Download Shuttle 1.3 and it took 13 minutes. Download Shuttle is in no way a download accelerator Creative Cloud Files in its current form (v1.3).
I’ve got nothing!
Didn’t work AT ALL. Downloaded YouTube video files in 2 seconds - yeah right. Nothing there when I open the files.
Too much Ads
I prefer to have a paid version rather than seeing any "offer" on my screen everytime this app launches. I hate ads.
It claims to do alot but ends up doing absolutely nothing. False advertising is not good for your brand. Yeah, it has a good UI, but it couldn’t describe the app any better. All hype no substance. I tried downloading from multiple websites, and it still gave me an error everytime. I was able to download one video, but it just created a blank doc with no content. I honestly would not recommend this to anyone. The pop up ad is just absolutley horrendous. Stop pestering me with your other products that I am not interested in! I could go on, but I’ll sum it up in a list. - UI is okay - Errors downloading from many sites - Ads are a pain, stop them - Inspector is broken - Would not recommend until devs get their stuff together.

Hangs indefinitely when trying to download just about anything on OS X 10.9.3.
«videoplaybacks» from youtube does not added to the list. [.fldownload created] sometime you press «Add» button (blue one) and program is gone for ever. [loading] (most of experience for me) compared to curl, it eats 1 core, cheers.

They took “inspiration" from Transmission. Congratulations to the developers, anyway.
